a message to the nuggets
today i'm sorry to announce the most difficult decision i’ve made in history.
i will have to cut the subscribers by 20%, which means i have to say goodbye to many of you nuggets.1 if you are among those that are impacted by my random number generator, then you will receive an email and as well as an exclusive unlisted youtube video link to hear my sorry voice say goodbye.
i want to take accountability for my substack growing too fast. i just cannot entertain too many people equally. so i'm sorry if you're among those that are impacted.
how did we get here?
i take full accountability for my decisions that led to this point. i was just starting a personal newsletter. but then over the last year, interest in my life significantly increased. as a result, i made the tough decision to scale my substack and focus more on views rather than quality of content. for awhile it worked well, i just talked about tech and people ran to my front door. it was easy. but then i started being more unauthentic. i am sorry for that.
how will this work?
letting go of nuggeters is sad, so here are some details to help you get through it:
severence pay: you will get nothing for 10 weeks, and then nothing after that

equity: i don't have any imaginary percentages to give you

i am deeply saddened to be relaying this news. i love each and every one of you nuggets and i know with time we'll only come out of this oven juicier and crispier. i thank each and every one of you for being a part of my happy meal. you have only made me hungrier.
