As a former business development professional (at some point selling enterprise cybersecurity to companies like Nike and Starbucks), there is a better way of looking at these things!
You're absolutely right that it sucks there are many many many people out there trying to eek out their tiny fee, but there are also plenty of people out there that believe making money is the byproduct of genuinely helping others.
The system works as intended - but there will be bad actors in every system ankle biting.
yeah this is a pretty negative take, it mainly stemmed from this quote that stuck with me from hamlet's 'to be or not to be' that i can't help but not be able to mentally resolve:
"whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
or to take arms against the sea of troubles
and by opposing end them. to die, to sleep"
i know there are positive ways of looking at it but in the end it really is a system we have to work with.
